did you know this is the truth about that ‘racist australian KFC ad’?
the ad was made to coincide with the west indies cricket team touring australia. so the white australian guy is feeling awkward because he’s with a bunch of fans of the opposing team and offers KFC as a peace offering because, well, its a KFC ad.
if anyone’s racist it’s the people being outraged because they seem to be unaware that not all black people are african. let alone african-american. those black guys were west indians so the stereotype doesnt apply, and we dont have that stereotype here anyway.
americans think their history is more important than anyone elses, so if it’s offensive there, it’s offensive everywhere. wrong!
