Which All Blacks players are leaving to play club rugby in other countries?
I’m still relatively new to the sport, and now I’m reading that some of my favorite players are leaving… why would they choose to play rugby elsewhere? What teams are they going to?
Simply because of New Zealand’s salary cap. The NPC (Air New Zealand Cup) have put salaries on all teams so that Canterbury cant take it all the time(not canterbury supporter, but its a fact.) The salaries offered over seas are higher and a player only has 10 years if they are lucky, to be making any money. Also the players have conditions in their overseas contracts to allow them to come and play for the All Blacks if need be. The best of both worlds.
