English Springer Spaniel Vs Cavalier King Charles Spaniel?
Which on should I get. I heard that the Cavalier king charles Spaneil could have Seriuos medical problems. But, I heard they are good dogs. I had a English springer for 10 years she was great she passed away last year. Which one should I get?
They are very different breeds! Yes, the King Charles has SERIOUS heart disease problems. So bad, it’s unlikely you can find one without the problem. They are also very popular and so expensive. Top that off with the fact you will need lots of money in the bank for vet bills. And, they still rarely live beyond middle age. I sure would not ever recommend this breed to anyone. The English Springer is an active dog. I’m sure they have their share of health problems too, but nothing as severe as the King Charles. If you have the time to exercise and train a Springer, that is a better choice.
